Dr. Giacometti, MD is a practicing Diagnostic Radiologist in Arlington, VA and has been in practice for 31 years. Since 2008 she has been a practicing radiologist for Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group, focusing not only on neuroradiology but also on women's imaging.
Dr. Giacometti received her undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland, and went on to study medicine at Georgetown University where she received her medical degree in 1987. Following medical school, she completed her residency in diagnostic radiology at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, and went on to complete a neuroradiology fellowship in 1994.
Dr. Giacometti has served as president of the Georgetown Clinical Society, an organization founded over 100 years ago by the Georgetown Medical School alumni, president of the Arlington County Medical Society, and president of the District of Columbia Medical Radiological Society. She currently serves as Associate Director of the Medical Society of Virginia. In 2012 and 2013 she was designated a "Super Doctor" by the Washington Post editorial board, and in 2014 she was honored as Georgetown Clinical Society's Doctor of the Year. She resides in Arlington, Virginia with her husband Ross D. Vincenti, a lawyer in the telecommunications industry.
