Colin Blais recently graduated from Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Geography and is now pursuing a Master of Arts in International Development at American University, School of International Service. At Syracuse, he attended Tsinghua University in Beijing, China to study Intensive Mandarin and China-US relations. Colin’s internship with the United States House of Representatives allowed him to conduct research for the House Committee on Rules and write the FY22 Earmark Request Instruction Manual which was circulated to all business and non-profit executives in Central Massachusetts. Before Meridian, Colin conducted geopolitical risk analysis and wrote news articles for Foreign Brief. He has also worked as an English Teacher in Beijing, China where he taught in-person English lessons to children and pioneered new online learning software.
