Camilo Flores Bastidas is the Co-Founder of Vivo Arquitectura, an organization dedicated to reducing the environmental impact of rapidly growing and developing cities. Vivo Arquitectura offers housing for low income families and uses local and renewable materials such as bamboo to build sturdy infrastructures. This initiative has received awards from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the Chinese government, and by Viva Idea. Camilo has a Master’s degree in Architecture Design from the University of the Ryukyus in Japan and a Bachelor’s degree in Marine Sciences from the Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano.
