Cami Bissen is a Program Coordinator with the Meridian Center for Global Leadership, supporting various programs in the Customized Exchanges team. Cami earned her BA in public policy studies at Vanderbilt University, with a concentration in foreign policy in the Middle East. While at Vanderbilt, she studied abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark, and Amman, Jordan, and worked as a peer advisor in Vanderbilt’s Global Education Office. Following her graduation in May 2019, Cami spent ten months teaching English in Jinan, China, which strengthened her desire to pursue a career in public diplomacy and international exchange. Before joining Meridian, she worked on political campaigns in Virginia and Wisconsin, as well as at a public relations and communications firm. She has limited working proficiency in Arabic and Spanish and is currently studying Mandarin.
