Brenna Knippen is currently in her senior year at George Washington University where she is double majoring in archaeology and classical studies. This past semester, Brenna studied abroad in Athens, Greece, where she worked as a social media and communications assistant for the PLUGGY (Pluggable Social Platform for Heritage Awareness and Participation) EU Project. In 2016, Brenna studied abroad in Istanbul, Turkey through the ARIT-BU Advanced Turkish Fellowship. In addition, Brenna is a two-time recipient of the US Department of State’s NSIL-Y Turkish Language scholarship and holds a C1 Level Turkish language certification.
