Robert (Bob) Hurst

Bob Hurst has had a long career with leadership roles in both the business and non profit worlds.

He spent 30 years at Goldman Sachs in a variety of leadership positions, including head of Goldman’s global investment banking operations.  He retired in 2004 as Vice Chairman and a member of Goldman's Board of Directors.

He is currently Vice Chairman of Crestview Partners, a private equity firm and co chair of DHB, a public SPAC.  He has served on the board of Directors of over a dozen public and private companies.

In the non profit sector, he was President  and then Chair of the Whitney Museum of American Art for 15 years, a member of the Executive Committee of the Aspen Institute, and past Chair of the Aspen Music Festival and School.  He is Chairman Emeritus of the Jewish Museum in New York, former Chairman of the National Cyber Security Center, and a former member of the Wharton Board of Overseers, among other affiliations.

Bob was also founding CEO of the 9/11 United Services Group, the coordinating arm for 13 social service agencies, including the Red Cross, involved in relief activities.
