Betsy Bryant Struse joined Cargill in October of 2015. She serves Cargill as a Director for International Government Relations in Washington DC. In this role she supports and enhances Cargill’s business priorities, brand, and reputation in key Asian markets. She promotes US agricultural trade priorities as the co-chair of the U.S. Food and Agriculture Dialogue for Trade Asia Pacific Working Group. Previously she supported Cargill’s Federal government relations advocacy, notably in the Animal protein space. Prior to joining Cargill Betsy worked for the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Energy, Installations and Environment. In this role she provided legislative support, facilitated interagency coordination, and led the Assistant Secretary’s congressional speaking engagements. Betsy holds a BA from Dartmouth College. She lives in Chevy Chase with her husband, Charley and their two young children.
