Andrew Caughey is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, where he majored in English and minored in Asian Studies with a focus on China. In the spring of 2014, Andrew studied at Peking University in Beijing and held a research internship with China Policy. He has previously served as an editorial intern for Forbes Travel Guide and as Editor and Distributions Chair for the Berkeley Fiction Review literary magazine. At UC Berkeley, Andrew was a member of the first national chapter of Project Pengyou, a movement to increase the number and diversity of Americans studying abroad in China. As Project Pengyou’s Social Chair, he increased club membership and organized cross-cultural social and professional development events to cultivate friendships between American and Chinese students.
