Andrea Donoso created the company DiagnoChrome, a spin-off from the University of Concepción, which is dedicated to the production of diagnostic kits for agricultural plant pathogens. Andrea studied Plant Biotechnology Engineering and has a Master's Degree in Forestry Sciences. She started working in the biotechnology center of the University of Concepción on projects related to the genomics of plant resistance to biotic and abiotic stress.
