Amanda Caldas is a recent graduate from American University where she majored in International Studies and minored in Spanish Language and Culture. She studied abroadat the Universidad Diego Portales in Santiago, Chile and interned at the Foundation for Overcoming Poverty, where she analyzed the United Nations Millennium Development Goals for Chile. In Washington, DC, she has held internships with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and Strategies for International Development, where she focused on entrepreneurship and commerce in Latin America. Amanda is fluent in Portuguese and proficient in Spanish.
