Washington D.C. – Meridian International Center is pleased to welcome Teresa Carlson, Advisor, General Catalyst, Tom Monahan, CEO of Heidrick & Struggles, Jade Shields, Vice President, Corporate Affairs, Ferring Pharmaceuticals, and Scott Spector, Co-Founder Managing Member & Principal, Kodiak Properties, to its Board of Trustees.
The Board plays a key role in advancing Meridian’s mission to strengthen engagement between the United States and the world through diplomacy, leadership, and culture.
“I am thrilled to have such an outstanding group of new Trustees join us. Their diverse expertise will be invaluable as we continue our mission to promote international cooperation and further advance a more open and innovative approach to diplomacy,” stated The Honorable Stuart Holliday, CEO of Meridian.
The new Trustees join a Board of 30 leaders with experience from many sectors, including business, government, nonprofit, media, healthcare, technology, the arts, law, and real estate.
“In an increasingly challenging global environment, it’s critical to have leaders from different backgrounds and experiences working together as board members of Meridian. I look forward to each bringing unique perspectives to the table,” shared The Honorable Fred P. Hochberg, Chair of the Meridian Board of Trustees.
