Meridian Expands Senior Leadership to Drive Strategic Growth and Global Engagement

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Meridian International Center announced this week the expansion of its senior leadership team with the addition of Kellee Wicker as Vice President for Technology, Innovation, and Space and Jim Golsen as Vice President of the Center for Corporate Diplomacy. The organization also announced the promotion of two senior leaders: Natalie Jones, has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer, and Puru Trivedi has been promoted to Senior Vice President. 

Meridian International Center is expanding its senior leadership team to meet the challenges and opportunities of a rapidly changing global landscape. The additions of Kellee Wicker and Jim Golsen, along with internal promotions for Natalie Jones and Puru Trivedi, reflect the organization’s commitment to innovation, collaboration, and cross-sector diplomacy. 

Jim Golsen has joined Meridian International Center as the Vice President of the Center for Corporate Diplomacy. He brings over 20 years of experience in international trade and commercial diplomacy, most recently serving as Deputy Director General at the U.S. Department of Commerce, where he led the U.S. and Foreign Commercial Service’s global network supporting trade and business development in more than 100 countries. 

Kellee Wicker has joined Meridian International Center as the Vice President for Technology, Innovation, and Space. She comes to Meridian from the Wilson Center, where she served as Director of the Science and Technology Innovation Program, leading efforts to expand access to technology policy expertise and strengthen international cooperation in science and innovation. 

In her expanded role as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Natalie Jones will oversee the alignment and execution of organizational strategy, ensuring Meridian’s programs and partnerships continue to deliver global impact across diplomacy, business, and culture. 

Puru Trivedi, now Senior Vice President, will lead Meridian’s revenue generation strategy and oversee the Center for Corporate Diplomacy and its portfolio of privately funded program Centers. Trivedi’s leadership has been instrumental in growing Meridian’s global convening power and cross-sector collaboration. 

These leadership updates reflect Meridian’s continued investment in building a dynamic, globally engaged team to support its mission of equipping leaders to solve shared global challenges through diplomacy and dialogue.
