The Meridian Ball celebrated its 54th anniversary following the Meridian Summit on Friday, October 21. As one of the few events where diplomats, government officials and business leaders from across parties, borders and backgrounds can set aside differences and come together to celebrate global leadership, diplomacy and culture. The Meridian Ball has become a core part of Meridian’s identity and our mission to strengthen engagement between the U.S. and the world.
The Meridian Center for Global Leadership hosted the International Visitor Leadership Program's Global Moment in Time: "Photojournalists Document Challenges and Opportunities in the COVID Era" for a networking event to debut the Meridian-curated book A Global Moment in Time: Through the Lens of IVLP Participants. With over 100 global participants spanning 90 countries, IVLP participants presented powerful photos showcasing impactful civil discourse, public opinion, and public understanding of how COVID-19 has disrupted society, yet brought people together.
