Meridian Counselor celebration at Ambassador Ourisman’s home
Ambassador Mary Ourisman hosted a reception at her home on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 to recognize and thank Meridian leadership spanning the past 60 years. In attendance were former Board Chairman Governor Jim Blanchard, former Meridian President Ambassador Walter Cutler and current Chairman of the Board of Trustees Secretary Carlos Gutierrez. Meridian President and CEO Ambassador Stuart Holliday spoke about the critical role Meridian and its Trustees play, “Thank you for your leadership in shaping Meridian into the diplomacy and global leadership institution it is today. Meridian continues to build on its legacy and expand its innovative programs to meet the increasing demand for leaders to develop diplomatic relationships and strengthen U.S. engagement around the world through mutual understanding and exchange. We are all diplomats and together we can help shape the future to protect the values we cherish and build a more secure and prosperous world.”
