Ms. Mampho Tjabane is the owner of Florratt Cosmetics, a cosmetics company with over 10 years of experience in a variety of sectors including textiles, home decor, and food services. Her cosmetics line is manufactured with aloe herbal products grown in Lesotho. She is an active member of the Federation of Lesotho Women Entrepreneurs and has travelled to several countries for Invention and Innovation Exhibitions where she has shown her products. Ms. Tjabane was appointed board member of the Lesotho National Development Coorperation Executive in 2015, serving a three year term.
Ms. Manuela Rakotomanga is the founder and manager of Alizay, a company that manufactures and sells handmade fashion bags and accessories. Her products are made using natural fibers like raffia palm fibers, and her company employs 12 people. Alizay, the company managed and owned by Ms. Rakotomanga is a member of the American Chamber of Commerce of Madagascar. In addition to managing the company, Ms. Rakotomanga is in charge of designing products, insuring product quality control, and marketing operations including e-commerce.
Ms. Tamarind Nott is the owner of Mbiri Skincare Range, a company that formulates and develops a variety of different cosmetic products and manages their preparation. She also markets, sells and distributes the company’s products. In April 2013, Ms. Nott was one of two winners of Namibia’s Essential Oil Challenge Competition for her line of innovative cosmetics based on Namibian myrrh. Namibian myrrh has been collected for centuries by women from the Himba tribe in the northwestern part of the country, using the myrrh as their traditional perfume. Ms. Nott combines the sustainable harvested myrrh resin with other Namibian oils such as marula oil and kalahari melon oil to manufacture her Rare Scent line of cosmetic products.
