WASHINGTON, D.C. – Meridian International Center today announced the appointment of Kate Beale as Vice President of Strategic Partnerships. In this role, Beale will expand Meridian’s collaborations across the public and private sectors to advance American diplomacy and leadership, strengthen economic competitiveness, and build geopolitical resilience.
“Kate brings an extraordinary depth of experience across government, business, and international advocacy,” said Natalie Jones, Executive Vice President of Meridian International Center. “Her leadership will be pivotal in connecting Meridian’s mission with partners navigating today’s most pressing global challenges.”
Beale joins Meridian from Crowell Global Advisors, where she served as Managing Director and supported clients in shaping legislative, trade, and regulatory strategies worldwide. She brings 20 years of experience in foreign policy, trade, global health, humanitarian assistance, and economic policy, spanning grassroots engagement, Congress, the federal government, and the private sector.
Her previous roles include Associate Vice President of International Advocacy at The Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA), where she led advocacy efforts in India, Australia, and Washington, D.C., engaging with ministries, multilateral agencies, and U.S. policymakers on health systems, regulatory frameworks, and international trade. She also held senior leadership roles across government and Capitol Hill, directing strategy, congressional relations, and major international programs.

Beale holds a B.A. from Boston University and studied European Studies at Dublin City University. She began her career as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Paraguay.
