Directions
All streets named below are in Northwest Washington, DC. If you are taking a cab you will need to tell them “16th and Belmont” then make a left (only option) and follow Belmont around the long curve to Crescent and Meridian. We are the first opening, cobblestone pavement. We take up the whole corner block (2 acres).
Head north on 16th Street. Cross Florida Avenue and make the next left-hand turn on Belmont Street. Belmont is a horseshoe-shaped street that turns into Crescent Place. Meridian House and White-Meyer House are both on the right, following the turn.
Head south on 16th Street. Cross Columbia Road and continue for a half mile. Make a right turn on Belmont Street. This horseshoe-shaped street turns into Crescent Place. Meridian House and White-Meyer House are both on the right, following the turn.
Take I-395 North across 14th Street bridge. Take the Route 1 exit towards downtown and continue north on 14th Street for about 2.2 miles. Turn left on U Street and right on 16th Street. Continue north for another two blocks and turn left on Belmont Street, one block past Florida Avenue. Belmont is a horseshoe-shaped street that turns into Crescent Place. Meridian House and White-Meyer House are both on the right, following the turn.
Take I-66 (or other access roads) across Roosevelt Bridge onto Constitution Avenue. Turn left on 18th Street, then right on New Hampshire Avenue. New Hampshire becomes one way at T Street. Turn right on T Street and immediately after, turn left on 16th Street. Continue north and turn left on Belmont Street. Belmont is a horseshoe-shaped street that turns into Crescent Place. Meridian House and White-Meyer House are both on the right, following the turn.

Public Transportation
Take the Red Line Metro to the Dupont Circle stop. Take the Q Street Exit and walk up New Hampshire Avenue to 16th Street and head north. You can also take the Green Line Metro to the U Street/African-Amer Civil War Memorial/Cardozo stop. Take the 13th Street Exit and walk west on U Street for three blocks to 16th Street and head north. From there walk three blocks and turn left on Crescent Place. Meridian House and White-Meyer House are both on the left. Please note that this is an uphill walk of about 15-25 minutes. The S-1, S-2, and S-4 metrobuses all stop on 16th Street at Crescent Place.
Parking
Meridian's parking is located on Crescent Place on the right-hand side past White-Meyer House. Parking is free. Street parking is also available on Belmont Street and Crescent Place. Please note that all of the parking on the left-hand side of those two streets is restricted to two-hour parking, while parking on the right-hand side is partly restricted to two-hours, and partly unrestricted.
