Meridian will host Welcome to Washington, a signature program honoring newly arrived Chiefs of Mission and welcoming them into the Washington diplomatic community. The program provides ambassadors with a unique opportunity to engage directly with leaders from across government, business, and the policy community, fostering early connections that support effective diplomatic engagement in the United States.

Designed to strengthen peer-to-peer relationships among senior diplomats, Welcome to Washington creates space for candid exchange, relationship-building, and collaboration on shared global challenges. By convening a cross-section of Washington’s public and private sector leaders, the program reinforces the importance of trusted networks in facilitating bilateral cooperation and advancing diplomacy in an increasingly complex international landscape.
