Unpacking the Midterms: What Comes Next

On Friday, November 6, Meridian will host Unpacking the Midterms: What Comes Next, a timely, nonpartisan briefing on the implications of the 2026 midterm elections for Washington and the world.

Days after Americans vote in the November 3 midterm elections, Meridian will convene ambassadors, diplomats, corporate leaders and policy stakeholders to examine the new political landscape and what it could mean for U.S. policy over the final two years of President Trump’s term. Featuring former lawmakers, strategists, journalists and election analysts, the discussion will explore the balance of power in Washington, the administration’s legislative agenda and potential implications for U.S. foreign policy, businesses and foreign missions navigating Washington.
