Meridian International Center, in partnership with the State International Development Organizations (SIDO), will host a Roundtable and Reception on State-Led Commercial Diplomacy in Washington, D.C., bringing together state trade directors, foreign trade counselors, corporate leaders, and U.S. federal agencies for a focused conversation on foreign investment and state-level economic engagement.

The event will convene trade directors from U.S. states and representatives from partner embassies to examine how recent and upcoming Trade Framework Agreements can be translated into concrete investment outcomes. Through a panel discussion, facilitated table rounds, and a networking reception, participants will explore practical strategies for strengthening diplomatic relationships, aligning state priorities with foreign investment goals, and advancing cross-border commercial partnerships.
