Reception Honoring the 2024 International Women of Courage Awardees

On the eve of International Women’s Day, Meridian will host a reception honoring the 2024 International Women of Courage Award recipients. The annual Secretary of State’s International Women of Courage Award pays tribute to women around the world who have courageously advocated for the rights, equality, and social progress of all citizens. This year, 12 exceptional women representing six regions of the world will be recognized for their outstanding contributions to their communities.

Since 2013, Meridian, in partnership with the U.S. Department of State, has had the honor of welcoming the IWOC awardees through the International Visitor Leadership Program. The International Visitor Leadership Program is the U.S. Department of State's premier professional exchange that aims to deepen mutual understanding between Americans and emerging leaders from around the world. Meridian has been a principal partner in implementing the International Visitor Leadership Program for more than 60 years.
