Reception Honoring Social Secretaries and Cultural Attachés 2024

Event Details

Thursday, July 18, 2024

Whether they are organizing cultural events and exchange programs, engaging local media and civil society on behalf of their countries or providing vital assistance and support during crises, social secretaries and cultural attachés are constantly at the forefront of diplomacy.

On July 18, Meridian will bring together embassy social secretaries and cultural attachés, U.S. policymakers, and philanthropic partners to honor the important role that these professionals play in strengthening ties between their Embassy and the United States.

Guests will also have the opportunity to immerse themselves in Meridian’s latest exhibition, Mother Earth. This contemporary art exhibition of all-female artists serves as a poignant reflection on humanity’s relationship with the natural world, inviting viewers to contemplate, engage, and act towards a more sustainable future. Mother Earth is generously underwritten by Stephanie and Mark Robinson, DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities, and curated by Virginia Shore and Sarah Tanguy.

If you have any questions regarding this program, please reach out to Nicole Mularz at externalaffairs@meridian.org.
