Meridian will convene a Meridian Council Salon exploring the role of women journalists on the frontlines of global conflict and their influence on international diplomacy and national security. The discussion will examine how journalism and storytelling shape public understanding of global affairs, inform foreign policy, and guide government action in an increasingly complex international landscape.

Featuring Her Excellency Ambassador Nicole Bintner-Bakshian and leading women in international diplomacy and global reporting, the salon will bring together voices from the diplomatic, public, and private sectors to consider how women journalists contribute to policy debates, illuminate global conflicts, and influence diplomatic responses. Participants will explore the intersection of journalism, foreign policy, and international security—and the critical role women play in shaping how global challenges are understood and addressed.
