Meridian is pleased to be hosting it's next Insights@Meridian program. Arranged specifically for chiefs of mission, featuring U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley for an off-the-record conversation on the role of the U.S. Senate in foreign affairs. Senator Grassley serves as Ranking Member of the Judiciary Committee and is also a key member of the Finance, Agriculture and Budget committees. Economic development, cybersecurity, intellectual property rights, immigration, and human rights are among the wide-ranging subject areas within the Iowa Senator’s portfolio. During the conversation moderated by Meridian CEO Ambassador Stuart Holliday, attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and interact with the longest-serving Republican Senator currently in Congress – Senator Grassley was elected to Senate in 1981. Senator Grassley is currently the Senate Pro Tempore Emeritus, or former President of the U.S. Senate.
