The Diplomatic Skills Training offers the CORE Incubator a tested, evidence-based, practitioner-led course that directly advances Pillar 1’s training system goals. Its curriculum builds the same core competencies — deliberative reasoning, cross-cultural communication, evidence translation, and stakeholder engagement — that CORE seeks to develop, grounded in the proven methods of diplomacy. Open to participants from all fields and disciplines, the program is designed from the outset for the transdisciplinary, community-connected learning that CORE envisions. At a moment when civil discourse is under pressure on campuses and in communities, the diplomatic tradition offers a time-tested framework for structured, good-faith engagement across varied perspectives. Meridian is ready to be a contributing partner in making that tradition available to the next generation of civic leaders.
