Diplocraft: Engaging U.S. Governors and Their Senior Staff

December 14, 2022

The Meridian Center for Diplomatic Engagement is pleased to announce our next Diplocraft program featuring senior staff from four gubernatorial offices. They will engage in a dynamic conversation on best practices for engaging at the state-level with governors and their senior staff. They will consider how to create critical relationships with new governors’ offices during the transition and over the first months of taking office. The speakers will also delve into the links between governors and state legislatures, and how to leverage relationships at both levels from Washington, and from within the state. They will also explore how to best engage with offices on international cooperation.

Moderated by Tiffany Waddell, Director of Government Relations, National Governors Association, the program will feature:

Nikki Guilford
Washington, DC Office Director, Office of Governor Mark DeWine (R-OH)

Alex Hermann
Director of Federal Affairs, Office of Governor Phil Murphy (D-NJ)

Christina Lepore
