Assessing the State of Global Women’s Health
Tuesday, March 23 | 10:00-11:00AM ET
We invite you to join us for “Assessing the State of Global Women's Health,” the next program in our Diplocraft series. This briefing will bring together 45-50 diplomats, private sector and NGO leaders, and federal government officials. This program is being held in close cooperation with our partner, Hologic.
You will learn more about Hologic’s Global Women’s Health Index, the world’s first and largest survey examining the current state of women’s health, with over 120,000 respondents spanning 116 countries. This session will explore COVID-19’s disproportionate impact on women around the world and how gender continues to serve as a determinant of healthcare access and outcomes. Participants will have an opportunity to ask questions and learn more about how leaders in government, public health, and the private sector can work together to advance women’s health equity.
Panelists include:
- Ambassador Nancy Brinker | Founder, Susan G. Komen and Promise Fund of Florida
- Jim Clifton | CEO, Gallup
- Steve MacMillan | CEO, Hologic
- Kelly Saldana | Director, Office of Health Systems, Bureau of Global Health, USAID
