Elizabeth has worked on the State Department International Visitor Leadership Program since 2010. As Program Officer, she designs and implements professional programs of study and observation in the United States for rising leaders from around the world on topics such as human rights, journalism, entrepreneurship, youth leadership, higher education, and economic revitalization. Elizabeth also manages the Global Government-to-Government Partnership, a long-term fellowship program for government officials from Japan. Prior to joining Meridian, she traveled to Afghanistan to volunteer for adult literacy and youth programs, and later served as Communications Fellow at Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty. Elizabeth received her BA in French from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, and a dual MA from the American University of Paris, with the Institut Catholique de Paris, in International Affairs, Conflict Resolution, and Civil Society Development.
