Students from Middlebury College in Vermont and Emory University in Georgia study rasa (performance aesthetics), Hindu traditions, and Indian classical dance in an innovative course. After learning basic Kuchipudi foot movements and hand gestures throughout the semester, students performed the Krishna dance from the Narayaniyam for a public audience.
