The opening ceremony of Arbab Rustam Guiv Dar-e-Mehr was attended by nearly 600 Zoroastrians from North America and across the globe. Zoroastrians worship fire, a symbol of God, and burn sandalwood to keep the flame alive. With only a handful of Dar-e-Mehrs (fire temples) in the country, the local community of Zoroastrians spent years fundraising internationally to build the temple.
