Contributions to Meridian help support its work to strengthen sustainable global partnerships and international collaboration – critical factors in America’s national interests and long-term security and prosperity.
Individuals and companies can support Meridian’s mission in a variety of ways:
The Campaign for Meridian at 50
The James R. Jones Fund for Meridian at 50 recognizes Meridian International Center’s 50th Anniversary in 2010. The purpose of the campaign is to restore and preserve Meridian’s facilities and ensure that our programs continue to provide world leaders with an innovative forum for public and cultural diplomacy. Increasingly our national interests are intertwined with the interests and concerns of the international community, which makes the mission and programs of Meridian even more relevant and essential. We began this important campaign by honoring former Meridian Chairman Ambassador James R. Jones in May at our 2009 Spring Garden Benefit for his many contributions to global engagement through service to the United States of America and Meridian International Center. Events to celebrate Meridian at 50 and to thank our supporters will continue through 2010 culminating with the Meridian Ball in October 2010.
