Learn how the U.S. government and NGOs work together to protect the constitutional and civil rights of minority populations (including youth, women, and indigenous populations);
Familiarize the participants with the U.S. law enforcement, legislative and judicial frameworks, and the role of courts in protecting human rights in the justice system;
Learn about civil society’s role in protecting civil rights and promoting equitable distribution of resources; and
Examine religious diversity and tolerance and how the rights of religious minority groups are protected in the United States.
