Building an Energy Industries Workforce

  • Orient participants to the U.S. downstream energy industry, particularly petrochemicals;
  • Outline the full cycle of workforce development for energy and petrochemical professionals, at secondary trade schools, undergraduate and graduate programs, and industry training centers;
  • Highlight government policy and administrative role in promoting industry-specific educational and training programs; and
  • Provide the opportunity for direct interaction with U.S. federal, state, and local
    Government actors, as well as private-sector representatives to discuss relevant issues.
