An internationally recognized expert in Middle East/North Africa affairs, Randa Fahmy has more than twenty-five years of legal and public policy experience, including service in the United States Government as the Associate Deputy Secretary of Energy, and Counselor to United States Senator Spencer Abraham (R-MI).
Presently, Randa is President of Fahmy Hudome International (FHI), a strategic consulting firm, which provides critical advice and counsel to international and domestic clientele with an interest in international business transactions and energy policy.
Previously, Randa was a practicing attorney with the law firm of Willkie, Farr and Gallagher, and served as Congressional Liaison at the National Association of Arab Americans.
She received her Juris Doctor from the Georgetown University Law Center, and her B.A. from Wilkes University. Randa’s opinions on international diplomacy have been published in the Wall Street Journal, and she appears frequently as an expert analyst on energy and national security issues on NBC’s Today Show, MSNBC, Fox News, CNN, and Al-Jazeera.
