Marthella's project, "Disability Awareness Workshop" raised awareness of the issues facing Human Resources professionals and built up the knowledge of HR managers. Her project organized a 3-hour conference that included a workshop and roundtable discussions for 35 HR managers from 33 national and global companies in Jakarta, Indonesia. Three disability inclusion experts led the workshop, in addition to a speech given by a commissioner from the National Disability Commission. The workshop also engaged participants in a roundtable discussion led by six facilitators with disabilities. At the conclusion of the workshop, 93% of participants strongly agreed that individuals with disabilities have the right to suitable employment, and five companies specifically connected with Marthella to consult on hiring workers with disabilities.
