The ASEAN Youth Volunteer Programme (AYVP) began in 2013 to support ASEAN’s objectives of regional integration and peer connectivity through engaging youth in volunteer opportunities. The 2017 youth volunteers were composed of individuals passionate about disaster risk reduction and management of natural disasters.
