In 2018, Marvel’s Black Panther was released to box office success worldwide. The main car chase was filmed in Busan, Republic of Korea, and featured many of the city’s landmarks, including Gwangalli Beach, Gwangan Bridge, and Jagalchi Market. Several Marvel movies have been filmed in Busan, which is also the site of Asia’s largest film festival.
