Meridian is excited to announce the return of our IVLP Staff Exchange program this fall!
As a means of strengthening our connections with local partner organizations, the Meridian Center for Global Leadership’s IVLP Team runs a staff exchange annually for the network of Global Ties U.S. Community Based Members (CBMs).
This fall, Meridian will host a CBM staff member at Meridian for a week, offering a close-up view of our organizational management and programming best practices. We are also offering the opportunity for a CBM to host a Meridian staff member for 2 – 5 days. Possible dates are listed on the applications.
“A week spent with the Meridian team was an invaluable look at the organization, teamwork, and diversity of an organization. I gained deeper insight into the NPAs’ responsibilities and processes, something I could only make assumptions about in the past.”
- Andrew Kovach, Cleveland Council for World Affairs
“All of the discussions, from budget management to proposal writing to communications to tips on using ORDIV were extraordinarily helpful, and I know that WorldDenver's IVLP programs will grow and improve as a result of this exchange."
- Matt Britton, WorldDenver
"My time at Meridian enabled me to expand my understanding of the IVLP network, engage directly with my colleagues at Meridian, and to share the resources that my community has to offer IVLP participants. It was a very impactful professional experience and I feel better prepared to program and welcome IVLP participants because of this opportunity."
- Madison Brooks, World Affairs Council of Kentucky & Southern Indiana
