Tuesday, November 10 | 10:00AM EST
NAACP President and CEO Derrick Johnson will share his perspectives on the election results, Black voter turnout, the impact of the racial justice movement on the elections, and what the next Administration, Congress, and new Supreme Court may mean for civil rights. Mr. Johnson will also focus on the national protests for racial equality and the next steps for the movement. Through a moderated conversation and Q+A, foreign ambassadors and private sector leaders will also learn about the NAACP’s historic and continued efforts to strengthen democratic practices in the United States and provide equal opportunities for all citizens. The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) is one of the best examples of the significant role that civil society can play in the American political and justice processes. Please reach out to Katherine Boyce with any questions.
