On the evening of July 28, 2010, the Chief of Protocol Capricia Marshall of the United States held a reception at Meridian to bid farewell to the Chiefs of Mission in the U.S. Diplomatic Corps and their families as they departed on their summer travels. This casual gathering allowed foreign Ambassadors, administration officials, the Office of Protocol and others to engage on matters of mutual interest and to meet the leaders of Meridian International Center.
