International Children's Festival is a vital part of Meridian’s educational outreach Programs, through which we have reached over 70,000 students in the District of Columbia Public schools (DCPS), helping them to develop an understanding of other cultures and world geography. Our outstanding educational outreach programs help DC public and public charter school students learn important geography skills needed in this global environment, prepare them to enter an interconnected job market and bring a ‘world of possibilities’ into their life. To those, whose privileges of "global" education are limited, such as DC public school students, Meridian’s educational outreach programs offer a great opportunity.
