Meridian Global Dialogue Dinners are “salon style,” off-the-record conversations examining the central policy challenges facing U.S. and world leaders. Drawing on Meridian’s unique constituencies, the dinners offer both a domestic and international perspective on the issues. Participants include high-level individuals from the congressional, diplomatic, and U.S. government communities, as well as Meridian Trustees and Corporate Council members. The small audience format is designed to facilitate thoughtful conversation and encourage audience participation. Previous Meridian Global Dialogue Dinners have featured speakers such as Senator John Kerry and Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai of Zimbabwe, as well as topic-driven programs on the global food security challenge, U.S.-France relations and investment opportunities in emerging markets.
